Alex Herr is an Associate Financial Advisor with Summit Financial Advisors - LPL Financial. After nearly a decade in the banking industry, he transitioned to the financial planning world to help clients achieve their best financial lives. Alex believes that financial planning should be available to everyone, not only the affluent. He uses his life experiences to deliver personalized recommendations to his clients. Alex holds a MS in Financial Planning from Kansas State University and a BS in Financial Services from Maryville University of St Louis.

PERSONAL

Alex has worked in the Financial Services industry since 2014 as a bank teller. As a freshman in college, he had no idea that this part-time job would lead to the development of his passion for helping people achieve their best financial lives. From there, Alex completed his Bachelor's degree in Financial Services from Maryville University and his Master's degree from Kansas State University. In 2017 Alex and his now-husband, Ryan, moved to Madison, WI.
